Mega mewtwo x is better at attack and defense. If your mewtwo has better stats in sp. Defense, go for y and vice versa. On other hand, mega mewtwo y's has a great and sleek design and it also doesn't rely much on mewtwo's original design, making it look more way original than mega mewtwo x.
